GOOD REASONS TO TRAVEL TO CHILE

Lovers of nature and wide open spaces, set off on an unforgettable journey to the end of the world.

Experts for more than ten years in organizing trips to Chile, Chile Travel Agency also organizes combined tours with other South American countries.

Chile attracts more and more tourists every year. The long strip of land that stretches from the salt lakes of the Atacama Desert to the black rock of Cape Horn never ceases to display its beauty, and offers an endless variety of contrasts.

In the north, on the altiplano, there are numerous snow-capped volcanoes with high-altitude lakes at their feet. The Atacama Desert, the most arid desert in the world, lies close to the village of San Pedro de Atacama and many other enchanting natural sites such as the Valley of the Moon, the lacs altiplanicos, the Geysers del Tatio. In the far south, the Land of Fire and the Fjords of Patagonia, where wind, rain and storms reign for part of the year, leading to nature as severe as it is fascinating. Far from the mainland coast, the Moais, giant statues of Easter Island, erected there by a Polynesian population 1500 years ago, have yet to reveal their true significance.
In Valparaiso, one of the country's most endearing cities, pastel-painted houses have lent a tenacious charm. The modernism of part of Santiago will remind you of European and North American cities.

The incredible diversity of landscapes and considerable wildlife will leave a lasting impression on you during this tailor-made trip, which could well be your first! Indeed, it's difficult to discover everything in one go in this country the size of France.

DISCOVER CHILE'S REGIONS

ARICA
SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA
HANGA ROA
SANTIAGO
VALPARAISO
PUERTO VARAS
COYHAIQUE
PUERTO NATALES

ARICA - Extreme north

Chile's far north is at the crossroads of several routes, as it borders Peru et la Bolivia. Both a gateway to another country and a starting point for excursions to the altiplano or Lauca Park, this region offers unique and colorful landscapes that will captivate you.

SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA - Far North

Le Chile's far north is the country's driest region, home to the Atacama Desert, the driest desert in the world. The Atacama region lies between the Antofagasta region to the north, Argentina to the east and the Coquimbo region to the south.
The Salar de Uyuni can be discovered on an expedition from Arica, or from San Pedro de Atacama in the south of Bolivia.
In this part of Chile, many excursions and expeditions depart from San Pedro de Atacama, a small village next to Calama where the main airport is located.

SANTIAGO & VALPARAISO - Center

This area concentrates all the country's administrative, political and economic activities. It is also the country's most important cultivation area, to the south of Santiago.

PUERTO VARAS - Lake District and Chiloé Island

Abundant vegetation characterizes this area, with a wealth of native forests, lakes and, of course, national parks. The impressive Petrohué waterfalls and the active Osorno volcano are among the highlights of this incredible natural environment. The island of Chiloé, bordering the mainland, and its singular architecture will delight history buffs, as will the many surrounding villages that bear witness to the German colonies that lived in the region.

COYHAIQUE - Route Australe

From the Lake District all the way to Patagonia, theAustral Road, or Carretera Austral, offers over 1,200 kilometers of trails for lovers of nature and wide open spaces. You can discover a succession of varied and enchanting landscapes at your own pace on a self-drive tour. Mountains, rivers, lakes and vast expanses follow one another, sheltered by numerous national parks.

PUERTO NATALES - Patagonia

La Patagonia is the southernmost territory of the American continent, stretching across Chile and Argentina. La Patagonie du Nord abrite des lacs, des forêts millénaires et des glaciers, ce territoire est encore très sauvage avec de nombreuses zones inexplorées. Southern Patagonia, the land at the end of the world, offers contrasting landscapes, from infinite steppes to magnificent and spectacular natural parks, while Tierra del Fuego and Cape Horn bring this unique and hostile region to a close.

HANGA ROA - Easter Island

Located on an island in the heart of the South Pacific, this vast archaeological site, which is a World Heritage Site, is still a mystery, and will make your stay an unforgettable experience. It lies 3,700 kilometers from the Chilean coast and 4,000 kilometers from Tahiti, and covers an area of around 160 km².
Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995, Easter Island is part of Chilean territory, but its culture is primarily Polynesian.
