Situated at over 3,500 m above sea level, La Paz is considered the highest capital in the world. A strange but above all beautiful blend of old and new, the capital is synonymous with diversity in both its population and its architecture.
Bolivia is a country bursting with natural treasures, breathtaking views and an impressive diversity of landscapes. A must for lovers of the great outdoors.
Bolivia's main cities:
Potosi:

In colonial times, it was home to the world's largest silver mine, which transformed it into one of America's most prosperous cities, a splendour still possible to appreciate through the luxurious Baroque colonial buildings that have survived the passage of time.
Among the most representative buildings of the city are its beautiful Gothic-style cathedral, the Casa de la Moneda, the Torre de la Compañía and the church of San Lorenzo. In its surroundings, there are other famous tourist spots in Bolivia, such as the Salar de Uyuni and the Torotoro National Park.
Les incontournables:
Salar de Uyuni

The world's largest continuous salt desert, a natural wonder that stretches over 12,000km², reaching its greatest beauty between January and March, when its surface is covered by a light layer of water, managing to reflect the clouds from the sky.
In the middle of the salar lies Isla Incahuasi or Isla del Pescado, a rocky mound home to hundreds of giant cacti up to 10 metres tall.
Lac Titicaca

Located at 3,812 meters above sea level, it is the highest navigable lake in the world, an immense body of water located between the snow-covered landscapes of the Andes mountain range, on the border between Peru and Bolivia.
The lake has numerous islands, many of which contain pre-Hispanic archaeological remains where Aymara communities live. Isla de Sol is the most famous of these, but also the largest island in the lake, with numerous Inca ruins and spectacular viewpoints towards Titicaca.
