CHILE'S GEOGRAPHY AND TOURIST ATTRACTIONS!
Chile has no shortage of tourist attractions, and here are the main ones represented on a map. If you're looking for more detailed information, you can find it on the Chile road maps.

FAR NORTH + BOLIVIA
The far north is mostly desert, but the scenery is as varied as it is magnificent.
Interests:

Expedition duration: 4 days.
It takes about 10h00 to reach Salta by car. Argentina from San Pedro de Atacama. The road is superb.
There is a border crossing between the Peruvian town of Tacna and the Chilean town of Arica. It is also possible to stay in Peru, then move on to Bolivia, then return to Chile. Several tour combinations are possible.
When ? All year round, but be careful between January and February, as rainfall can disrupt excursions.

NORTH
It's a zone of great contrasts between deserts and fertile valleys.
Interests:

CENTER
This area concentrates all the country's administrative, political and economic activities. It is also the country's most important growing area, to the south of Santiago.
Interests:

SOUTH
Abundant vegetation is the hallmark of this area, with its abundance of native forests, lakes and, of course, national parks.
Interests:
From Puerto Varas, you can cross the Andean lakes to San Carlos de Bariloche in Argentina.
When ? Between October and March, but you'll still get showers.
NORTHERN PATAGONIA
Northern Patagonia is still a wilderness, with many areas still unexplored. There are lakes, thousand-year-old forests and glaciers.
Interests:
The Austral rout between Puerto Montt and Villa O'Higgins, via Puerto Cisne, Coyhaique, Chile Chico.
Sail through the fjords to get close to the glaciers.

SOUTHERN PATAGONIA + ARGENTINA
La Southern Patagonia, land at the end of the world, with contrasting landscapes of endless steppes and magnificent, spectacular parks.
Interests:
It takes only 05h00 to reach El Calafate by Argentina from Puerto Natales, and a little more if you decide to go to Ushuaia.

EASTER ISLAND
Situated on an island in the heart of the South Pacific, this vast archaeological site, a World Heritage Site, is still a mystery, and will make your stay an unforgettable experience.
Easter Island is now a Unesco World Heritage since 1995.

ANTARCTIC
L'Antarctic is the last unspoilt place on the planet. A place that's very difficult to access, and home to a wide variety of fauna.
Today, there's a thriving tourism industry that claims to be regulated, environmentally friendly and even scientific, giving you the chance to visit this continent and observe the place and its wildlife.
To preserve the last bastion of terrestrial and marine fauna we decided not to include Antarctica in our program.
